right / we've been organizing family heirlooms and baby clothes so elinor has really hit the dress-up jackpot. her hat from when she was a baby and a hand-knit sweater from great-grandma may.

left / piling a bunch of my favorites into a big bowl for dinner. coconut oil sautéed garlic sweet potatoes and purple cauliflower topped with crispy turmeric chickpeas. and plenty of salt and pepper.

left / nothing better than a morning run after a solid rain. it has felt so good to hit the pavement again after a bit of a hot weather hiatus. for me, this season is about running and yoga. getting outside. breathing in the cool, fresh air. getting the endorphins flowing. stimulating my lymphatic system. cleansing breathing. deep stretches. rejuvenating flow. a blend of energizing and calming movement to balance my mind and body.

right / on chilly mornings, there's nothing more satisfying and comforting than oatmeal. and my new favorite creation is this bowl of autumnal power oats with a buzz. i cooked sprouted oats with my leftover coffee to give them some roasted richness. and i used a little protein powder and peanut butter to give my body extra workout recovery fuel. the pièce de résistance: topping it with pumpkin fig ancient grain granola for added crunch and festiveness.

left / elinor's itty-bitty violin. it's the cutest thing ever. well, actually, the way she wants to be just like her papa is the cutest thing ever. and now, we fill our home with the precious, scratchy shrieks of a child learning to play the violin.
