hipster baby

much to my chagrin, elinor had a bit of a hipster moment the other day.  we had stripes going on.  she was wearing a baby cardigan.  and somehow, her little hair wisps styled themselves into a fashionable mohawk.  hmmm... i guess you can say that we have latent hipster tendencies here at the whitehouse home.  {sigh}  i was really hoping that we wouldn't be those people, ya know? sorry about that, baby girl.

on that note, check out this hilarious book that we were given for christmas.  so we kind of think of it as a funny ha-ha, but i'm sure that fifteen years from now this will be the status quo for baby books.  oh, future generations...
