two days a week…
i get a 30 minute coffee date with my little prince. we drop off elinor at 7:45am then find a cozy corner of a coffee shop du jour and camp out for a half-an-hour of chit-chat and people watching before ridley’s preschool drop-off at 8:30am.
we are settling into this biweekly ritual quite nicely. who knows how long we will carry on in this manner. for right here, right now, it is precisely what it needs to be. the form or format might change, but i hope the magic endures. these moments with my little man are precious. and fleeting. and i will take them wherever i can get them.
