my funny valentine

ben bought elinor this sweet little flannel dress for valentine's day and she was so excited. she opened the box carefully and exclaimed, "izzit mine? oh! tank you much, papa!" gosh, she's darling. and she immediately requested to wear it to church. this kid, she loves church. she asks to go every single morning. again, she's darling.

on our way out the door, E stopped by our picture wall and told us that she wanted to "stand right heeeeere. no, myself mama. papa, take pit-chure a me?" she stood by the wall and gave us her grinniest grin and best expressions. it was hilarious. and then, that was that. "okay, ready a go. in the car. go to church." and off to church we went.
