there really isn't too much else to say. we ate this bread and i was a happy girl.

okay, but not really the end.
this weekend went by so wonderfully slowly. just what we were hoping. saturday was filled with playtime and errands and doing whatever was deemed necessary to stay cool. we planned our menu for the week and took a little trip to the market. we read books and cooked. and ben and i even enjoyed a movie date night on the couch complete with popcorn and bubbly. one of my favorite ways to spend an evening.
ihope you had a delightful summer solstice. and the good news is that the longest day of the year and summer is officially behind us! good news for us arizonans, let me tell ya.
